Technical Innovation Award

This award will be made to the company which, in the opinion of the judges, has made the most significant technical innovation in a product or service during the previous year. The winning company of the Technical Innovation Award must demonstrate leadership in a developed platform or product area. The applicant will also be asked to outline any R&D grants they have received to date.
AWARD CRITERIA:

The company should show evidence of the following points:
· New products, technologies or novel approaches to software development
· Demonstrate that innovation can lead to opening new ways to selling
· Demonstrable adaptation to business models

Judging criteria will include the introduction of new products, technologies or novel approaches to software development, adaptation to business models and ability to demonstrate that technical innovation can lead to opening new ways to selling. The company should be able to give examples of any collaborative projects they have been involved in, if any. The applicant will also be asked to outline any R&D grants they have received to date.
